We are working to purchase eBook versions of as many textbooks as possible - check our Library Textbooks guide to see if yours is available!
Typically we do not purchase print textbooks as part of the library collection. However, some professors do make textbooks or supplemental readings available in course reserves. These books are available from the help desk on the second floor.
We also cannot request textbooks through interlibrary loan.
We do have a large format scanner on the second floor. Please be mindful of copyright laws if you choose to use it.
Just click the link below and if I'm in my zoom room, we can chat face-to-virtual face.

What is needed to find a book on the shelves?
• Title
• Call Number
• Location
Below is a diagram of a catalog record to show where these items are.
The WorldCat database includes nearly all printed books. Search by title, author, keyword, or subject. To limit to UT Tyler holdings click in the box next to Limit availability to: Items in my library. Search. Records will not include specific library location, call number, or availability. However, if the search is not limited to UT Tyler holdings, books may be discovered in other libraries and may then be available through interlibrary loan by clicking on Borrow from Another Library.
