What is LibKey Nomad?

LibKey Nomad is a free browser extension that allows users to quickly access full-text articles from databases like PubMed, Google Scholar, and individual journal sites directly through the Muntz Library subscriptions.

If the University of Texas at Tyler Libraries doesn't subscribe to or provide immediate access to an article, LibKey Nomad will redirect users to  InterLibrary Loan

Install LibKey Nomad

Installation can be completed in just a few steps.

1. Go to the LibKey Nomad download page and select Get LibKey Nomad.
2. Choose your browser and download the extension.
   Compatibility: LibKey Nomad supports Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Safari, and Vivaldi. LibKey Nomad is not compatible with mobile operating systems, including iOS and Android.
3. Following installation, select University of Texas at Tyler as your organization.
4. And go! You'll notice LibKey Nomad buttons appearing on compatible journal websites and scholarly databases.
