Welcome to the library stacks!

This is where you’ll find a wide range of books to explore, from history and literature to art and even manga. Whether you’re looking for something for class or just want to read for fun, there’s something here for everyone.

Don’t miss our Bestseller Collection, featuring popular fiction and nonfiction titles. These books can be checked out for two weeks, and we add new titles every month. If there’s a bestseller you’d like to see on our shelves, let us know. We take requests!

The CML (Curriculum Materials Laboratory) is a special collection designed mainly for Education majors and Children's Literature students. It has lots of great resources you can check out, including:

Big Books – Oversized books that are perfect for reading aloud to young children, often used in early childhood or elementary classrooms.

Easy Fiction – Picture books and simple stories for young readers, usually ages 4–8.

Juvenile Fiction – Chapter books written for children ages 8–12.

Adolescent Fiction – Books geared toward middle school readers, typically ages 11–14.

Young Adult Fiction – Stories written for teens, generally ages 13–18.

Come explore these materials—whether you're planning a lesson or just looking for a great story!

Course Reserves Information

FACULTY

Course Reserves: The circulation desk can place both library-owned materials and faculty-owned items on reserve.
Reserve Request Form: A completed form must accompany each item; it’s available online [PDF] or at the circulation desk. Please allow 3 working days for processing.
End-of-Semester Returns: Reserve items are returned to faculty via Campus Mail unless other arrangements are made.
Copyright: No permission is needed for first-time reserves, but copyright clearance is required for repeat use in subsequent semesters.

STUDENTS

Course reserves are accessed at the circulation desk
Patriots ID card must be presented to check out course reserves
Check out times vary from 2 hours in-library use to 3 weeks checkout
Reserve materials may not be renewed
Overdue Fees:
- In house: $0.50 per hour
- Checked out of building: $0.50 per day
