Your status in relation to the University determines what and how many items you can borrow from the library. More information is available here.
Undergraduate students may borrow 25 books for 3 weeks with one renewal.
Graduate students may borrow 50 books for 3 weeks with one renewal.
Faculty members may borrow 100 books for 1 semester with one renewal.
Information about fines and fees is available here.
If we don't have what you're looking for, try requesting it through InterLibrary Loan (ILL)! ILL is a service that allows students to borrow items from other libraries, if Muntz Library doesn't have it. You submit a request for a book, journal article, conference paper, whatever type of source you need, and we see if we can find it for free!
Please note that ILL relationships are very important for academic libraries to function. We need to be respectful of the lending terms set by other libraries. This includes the copyright notices on electronic resources. For print, pay close attention to the due date on the item. To ensure that due dates are taken seriously, there is a $1 per day, per item late fee for ILL items.
These books are on Reserve in the Muntz Library.
They are available at the Help Desk for a 2-hour checkout period
for use in the Library building.

Typically we do not purchase textbooks as part of the library collection. However, some professors do make textbooks or supplemental readings available in course reserves. These books are available from the help desk on the second floor.
We also cannot request textbooks through interlibrary loan.
We do have a large format scanner on the second floor. Please be mindful of copyright laws if you choose to use it.
