Open Access Publishing Agreements

In an agreement with Elsevier, UT Tyler authors receive a discount (10-15% depending on journal) on article processing charges for some eligible journals. This agreement includes articles with original submissions between January 1, 2021 - December 31, 2024. UT Tyler author must be the corresponding author.

What licensing options apply?

With this agreement, authors have a choice between a commercial (CC BY) or non-commercial (CC BY-NC-ND) license. The license choice is dependent on the journal selected. Please refer to the journal's homepage for specific details.
