2012 UT Tyler Freshman Summer Reading Program
The 2012 Freshman Summer Reading Program selection is Dreaming in Chinese: Mandarin Lessons in Life, Love, and Language (2010) by Deborah Fallows. The book discusses Fallows' experiences living in Shanghai.
Fallows spoke at the New Student Convocation, held in the UC Theater on Tuesday, August 21 at 5pm. All freshman and transfer students were invited.
